Participation House Salutes Markham Volunteer Extraordinaire- Harry Miller

Councillor Colin Campbell, Ward 5, City of Markham presents Harry Miller with a special recognition plaque from City of Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Council.

Since 1959, when Harry Miller and his wife Lois became members of the Cerebral Palsy Parent Council of Toronto,  Harry has been a driving force for over 54 years at Participation House, Markham.  As a founding member, Harry has actively played a significant role in wearing many hats from fundraiser, building committee, treasurer, continuing his involvement by sitting on many committees to holding the positions of the Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Human Resources Committee until he officially retired on April 22, 2015.  Harry, his wife Lois, their children Wendy, Donna and the late John Miller have been a constant support to their daughter/sister Debbie who continues to enjoy her life at Participation House, Markham.   On behalf of the residents, staff and Board of Directors of Participation House, Markham, thank you Harry Miller.
