Group Living and Supportive Housing
Participation House, Markham has several locations that are home to more than 100 people in York Region. Residents receive a wide range of caring service through Supported Independent Living Units, Group Homes, Shared Living, Residential Services and Respite Care.
- Personal Support Care Workers provide 24-hour personal support care in all aspects of daily living. The number of staff at each location is based on the specific needs of residents and clients.
- A Life Skills Coach is available to assist with budgeting, banking, meal planning and home management skills
- Specially equipped vans and buses provide transportation and access to community services
