Select Community Donors
Through the year, we receive donations from various groups in the community supporting our resident and staff activities that are not funded by the Ministries. With these donations, we have been to provide Day Program Services to those in need in our community, Recreational Activities for our residents, a pleasant and comfortable outdoor space for our residents to relax in, and during the holiday season, a lively visit from Santa at the Annual Open House Party and Dinner.

Participation House, Markham
On behalf of our clients and staff at Participation House, Markham, I would like to thank you for supporting our FashionAble Gala in May 2018. This event would not have been successful with your support and attendance. Special thanks to all the organizers, staff and volunteers who worked countless hours to produce a fabulous event!
Year one of FashionAble, we raised over $75k to purchase a new accessible van for our residents, in year two, we raised over $45k to purchase 5 Shower Trolleys and we received private and corporate support to purchase an additional Shower Trolley, and year three, you supported PH with generous donations that will continue to help make our dream of having more accessible vans for our residents, a reality.

Golf Tournament
The 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament for Participation House, Markham took place on Thursday September 20th, 2018 at the Prestigious Clublink Emerald Hills Golf course in Stouffville, Ontario. The event was sold-out and the funds raised are supporting the Physical Exercise program that will continue to enhance and enrich the lives of our residents. The golfers, the course, the contests, and the Live and Silent auctions all contributed to making the golf tournament the most successful to date. Thank you to all the donors, sponsors and participants for their generosity and to the many volunteers who worked so diligently to make the day fun and exciting !
