Participation House, Markham receives financial support from the Ontario Government, namely the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and Ontario Health – Central. This support covers substantially all of our operating costs, however vital capital investments, such as specially-equipped vans, pool improvements, physiotherapy fees and other capital projects, are funded through our own fundraising activities
Changing government funding policies in the past few years have had an impact on social agencies such as Participation House, Markham. These changes have mobilized PH to become an active and innovative fundraiser and your support is critical in maintaining a high quality of life for our residents and clients.
